Safe Routes To School Programs

Park & Walk

Park & Walk and Bus Park and Walk programs drop students off several blocks from school or other destinations and allow them to walk the rest of the way. Not all students are able to walk or bike to destinations; they may live too far away, or their route may include hazardous traffic situations. These programs allow students who are unable to walk or bike to destinations a chance to participate in Safe Routes to School programs while also reducing traffic congestion.
